Patricia Diaz Dennis

Patricia Diaz Dennis was Senior Vice President & Assistant General Counsel at AT&T until she retired in 2008.

Ms. Diaz Dennis serves on the Boards of Directors of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company and NP R. She is also an NHP Foundation Trustee and sits on the LBJ Family Wealth Advisors Advisory Board. Ms. Diaz Dennis was Chair of the Girl Scouts of the USA from 2005 to 2008 and served on its Board from 1999 until 2008. Governor George W. Bush appointed her to a six year term on the Texas State University System Board of Regents in 1999. Governor Rick Perry appointed Ms. Diaz Dennis to his transition team for Texas-Mexico relations.


Raquel “Rocky” Egusquiza

Raquel “Rocky” Egusquiza is Vice President of Multicultural Markets at AARP. She is responsible for the development and execution of AARP’s multicultural strategy by raising awareness and engagement of diverse communities.

She spearheads organization-wide planning and execution of AARP’s work to promote positive social change within the Hispanic community and deliver value to all AARP members. She is also responsible for the development and execution of a strategy relating to growing the Association’s multicultural membership.

She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Smithsonian Latino Center.


Charles P. Garcia

Charles P. García is Chief Executive Officer of García Trujillo, which helps Fortune 500 companies and multinational management teams to significantly grow their market share in the Hispanic market through strategy, execution and operations.

Founded by top Hispanic business leaders, the firm also serves as a merchant bank and venture capital firm for global Hispanic companies.

García was the CEO of the fastest growing Hispanic-owned business in the U.S. with 60 offices in seven counties. He served four years as Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the U.S. Air Force Academy, a Presidential Appointment; and he is currently on the Board of Directors of Winn Dixie Stores, a Fortune 500 supermarket in the southeast. García is also a best-selling author of two leadership books.


George Herrera

George Herrera is the Founder, President and CEO of the Herrera- Cristina Group, Ltd, a Hispanic-owned, multidisciplinary management firm specializing in marketing, communications, corporate diversity, public affairs, event planning, and research.

Mr. Herrera is currently an Independent Director of the Board of Directors of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies where he serves as Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee and is also a member of the Audit Committee.

Mr. Herrera is the creator of the nationally syndicated television show “Hispanics Today,” which is seen by more than 30 million viewers on NBC, CBS, and ABC networks throughout the U.S.


Monica Lozano

Monica Lozano was named Chief Executive Officer of impreMedia on May 24, 2010. Prior to this appointment, she served as SVP for impreMedia overseeing the company’s publishing group.

Ms. Lozano has been in a leadership position at impreMedia since its founding in January 2004, and has over 25 years of Hispanic media experience across virtually all business lines. She joined La Opinión in 1985 and it was under her leadership that the daily newspaper rose to national prominence as the nation’s largest and most influential Spanish language publication in America.


Sara Martinez Tucker

Sara Martinez Tucker serves on the Board of Directors of American Electric Power, a leading Fortune 200 company and the nation’s largest transmitter, Wal-Mart’s External Advisory Council and the Board of Trustees at the University of Notre Dame. Martinez Tucker served as the U. S. Under Secretary of Education, the nation’s top higher education position.

Martinez Tucker’s accomplishments include the development and implementation of a joint initiative with the U.S. Treasury Department to make nearly $70 billion in 2008-09 federal student loans available during the nation’s financial crisis and an innovative new website,, which received Computerworld’s Laureate Medal for exceptional use of technology to better society.
